Accessibility statement
According to requirements from Tilsynet for universell utforming, all digital services must be accessible to everyone, regardless of disabilities or abilities. We therefore do our best to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Our goal for accessibility
-
A universally designed and user-friendly website
-
At a minimum, meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards, while working towards achieving AAA in the future
-
Ongoing monitoring of WCAG requirements
-
Ensure that third-party solutions we use comply with Norwegian legal requirements
How accessible are our services
There are parts of our solutions that do not meet the requirements, but we are continuously working to improve them.
In 2023–2024, we worked on building a new design system so that all our components now comply with WCAG 2.1.
In 2025, we are continuing the work of updating all our services with the new components, with WCAG 2.1 being an important part of the process. As these updated services are gradually launched (2025–2026), we will ensure that the solutions meet the requirements.
Since we are currently in the middle of this process, there is, at this time, some variation in which requirements are met. We are aware that there may be issues with the following criteria:
-
Content must be able to scale up to 400% at 1280 pixels wide without loss of information or functionality (1.4.10 Reflow).
-
Text must be able to scale up to 200% without loss of content or function (1.4.4 Resize Text).
All functionality must be operable using only a keyboard (2.1.1 Keyboard). -
Use clear and descriptive page titles (2.4.2 Page Titles).
-
Provide users with the ability to skip directly to the main content (2.4.1 Bypass Blocks).
