Storebrand has once again qualified for the renowned indexes for corporate responsibility, Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and FTSE4Good Index.

Storebrand has been included in both sustainability indexes since their inception in 1999 (DJSI World) and 2001 (FTSE4Good). This has been a continuing goal in our CR strategy report, and our Group CEO Idar Kreutzer, is very pleased.

"It is particularly inspiring that we once again qualify for both these indexes during a time where competition is fiercer than ever. This is a result of a long-term commitment to sustainable development, and inspires us to continue to be ambitious and innovative to remain among the best," Kreutzer said.

The Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) covers the top 10 per cent of the biggest 2500 companies in the Dow Jones World Index in terms of economic, environmental and social criteria. Storebrand scores above average in all areas, and especially does particularly well on environmental and social considerations.

In their certification letter, FTSE4Good acknowledges that during a time where global investors are increasingly concerned with the management of environmental and social risks in their portfolios, Storebrand has proved that they have the policies and management systems in place to help address these risks.
